Compound Semiconductor Applications (CSA) Catapult was established in 2018 by Innovate UK to help the UK become a global leader in compound semiconductors.
CSA Catapult is the UK’s authority on compound semiconductor applications and commercialisation.
CSA Catapult is a centre of excellence with state-of-the-art equipment that specialises in the measurement, characterisation, integration and validation of compound semiconductor technology across four areas—power electronics, advanced packaging, radio frequency (RF) and microwave, and photonics.
Compound semiconductors will enable a host of new and exciting applications, helping us achieve Net Zero and ensuring that the UK has a resilient future telecoms network.
Custom Interconnect Ltd
Custom Interconnect Ltd (CIL) is currently one of the UK’s premier EMS providers as well as also housing the UK’s largest Semiconductor packaging facility.
With 200 staff, 8 off SMT lines and associated PCBA production equipment coupled with a comprehensive Semiconductor packaging facility,
CIL provides assembly services from semiconductor wafer through to full product build for its customers.
Based over 3 sites in Andover, Hampshire totalling 100,000sq ft CIL has built a 35-year reputation for manufacturing complex mission critical electronics and micro-electronics to range of customers and differing markets.
VIPER RF
VIPER RF is a microwave and millimetre-wave product company with headquarters in the United Kingdom.
The company was established in 2008 and has evolved from a design consultancy to become an established globally recognised monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs) supplier.
The company supplies GaAs & GaN MMICs as custom designs and standard products for applications from 1-150GHz.
VIPER RF has supplied MMICs and microwave module solutions into some of the most demanding commercial, defence and space markets.
